Privacy Policy

PressPrompt is a desktop application for Windows. This policy explains what happens to your data.

We don't collect your data

PressPrompt does not send your selected text, documents, or personal information to us. We run no server that receives your content.

AI providers

When you run an action, your selected text is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you choose (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or your local Ollama). That provider processes the text under its own privacy policy. For fully offline use, choose Ollama.

API keys

Your API keys are stored encrypted on your device using Windows DPAPI, tied to your Windows account. They are never transmitted to us.

Updates

The app periodically checks update.pp.f3l.com for a newer version. This is an ordinary web request and carries no personal data beyond what any web request includes (such as your IP address).

Website analytics

This website may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that measure aggregate traffic only and do not identify individuals.
