Installing on Windows (SmartScreen)

Because PressPrompt is a new app that isn't code-signed yet, Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen) message the first time you run the installer. This is normal for new independent software and does not mean the app is harmful.

How to run it

  1. Double-click PressPrompt-Setup-1.0.0.exe.
  2. If the SmartScreen dialog appears, click More info.
  3. Then click Run anyway.
  4. Follow the installer — it takes a few seconds and needs no admin rights.

Is it safe?

Yes. PressPrompt is a self-contained installer with no bundled extras. You can scan it yourself on VirusTotal before running. The warning disappears as the app builds reputation, or once it is code-signed.
